The JVP’s Propaganda Secretary and Parliamentary Group Leader, Wimal Weerawansa was transferred early last morning to ICU of the Cardiology.

Unit at the Colombo National Hospital and treated by Dr. Ruwan Ekanayake before being discharged late last evening. Hospital sources said he had suffered a cardio vascular attack. Party sources said it was a case of gastritis.
